Cake and Calculus had a second show last night. It was at a really nice place called 9th and Beats near the convention center in DC. I walked there straight from work! They played with a band from Philly and a number of people came, a lot who we didn't know! (Which is exciting because they want to get themselves know to many other people).
ummm, where did Cake and Calculus come from? What happened to Faraday?
ReplyDeleteFaraday was the band with the twins (Sam - drums, and Mark - guitar) with Randy - bass. When we moved back, Randy didn't want to join so they had to look for a new forth player. They also switched instruments, Sam on guitar, Mark on bass. It happened that Mike, the drummer from Shep's college band This Boys Trouble, was moving to DC so he joined and they felt they needed a new name. They took votes on a whole bunch of names and this one came out on top!
